This is Anne Appleby's first exhibition in the Netherlands. She has previously participated in the exhibition 'The Nature of Women' at The Mayor Gallery in London. Appleby's work is represented in various American museums including the Ulrich Art Museum in Kansas, the Albright-Knox Museum in Buffalo (New York) and in the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. In Europe her work is included in the collections of the Museum Ritter in Germany, the 'Foundation de 11 Lijnen' in Belgium, the Museum of Roverato-Trento and the Palazzo Ducal, Sassoulo, Italy, among others. An important installation by her has a permanent place in the renowned Panza Collection in Italy.
Anne has made seven works for Borzo. It is a series of works that she began on her return from Santa Fe in 2015. The countryside is so overwhelming when she arrives in Montana that she uses the rich and
